Frequently Asked Questions
The MLS stands for the Multiple Listing Service. It’s the database that nearly all properties (approximately 95%) are bought and sold from. Without the MLS, according to the National Association of Realtors, less than 5% of properties will sell.
The DIY Home Seller's Challenge® is a month-to-month program and will last as long as you’d like. The Challenge cannot be cancelled while the property is under contract.
You can add up to 50 of your own pictures. If the pictures you’re providing were not taken by you, proof of ownership will be required before they will be added to your listing.
You’ll be provided access to an online portal that will allow you to make changes to your listing as you see fit.
Yes. However, instead of a one-to-one match provided with our traditional full service, a Frē List Benefit® will be created for every 5 new DIY Challengers.
Yes. The onboarding process will provide all the paperwork including our simple listing agreement and all required state and federal documents.
Yes. The purpose of the MLS is to let Realtors know your property is for sale, and you’re willing to compensate them if they procure a buyer. You’ll decide what the compensation will be (typical commissions are between 2.5% to 3%, but you can offer any amount you’d like).
If you do not beat/win the challenge and hire Veterans Marketing Group full-service option to market your property, you will refund 100% of your total Challenge investment at closing.
